Saw a bit of Marcus playing doubles the other day, and I really DON'T rate his chances. Doesn't look anything like fit enough to play singles. Unless he hits his spots on serve, I'd expect Dan to take him to the bakers.

But I'm expecting some close matches in the bottom half - Ed is going to have to play well to get through this section. Going to be tight between the top four here.

Such a pity that it is closed to the public - just coaches and guests allowed entry.

Why is the event closed to the public? Sounds a bit sinister..  has this happened in previous years?

It was closed to the public last year - and I think the year before (or I would have gone !)

Billy has just beaten Corrie 6-3 in the 3rd.
And Luke B beat JonnyGray tie break in the 2nd.

 It's always been closed.

I think it's because it's at Wimbledon and security measures are not fully in place (or that's what they said, although I don't get it - a member of a player's family is just as likely to be a security threat as a member of the public - they're effectively the same thing)

Indeed. Though the just bluff your way in did work for one forum member, I think it was a couple of years ago. They had a great day. They didn't notice anything sinister

Please can you post a link? I can't find the results - probably looking in completely the wrong place!

The link is in the first post of this thread. You will see the draw, and the results so far - but no order of play as yet.
But I've posted all of it here anyway.
