It was all a bit tense.....

Dan did well to regather himself after an ongoing battle with the umpire.

Fantastic result!! Regardless of past with WC's he will now be earning them by merit and would like to see him getting a few MD ones now. I feel he still needs one more win to guarantee it though. Keep it going kid

Evo will now move up to a ranking that secures a Wimbledon WC play-offs spot

Yes, tend to agree, Jimmy. I was one for him having a mixture of qualifying and then MD WCs if he proved himself. If he continues to let his tennis do his talking then he makes a case for the move up.

Yes, Dan moves up now all the way to WR 701 in the live rankings. One other thing he has done so far this week is also move up from GB #24 to GB #16, amongst others passing one Marcus Willis.

One more win and he is into the 630s and GB #14, passing Ryan Storrie and Billy Harris as well.

So pleased for Dan still don't think he is fully fit but it shows talent shines through. He should get main draw WCS in lieu of Glasspool etc

Shame, but close. Why is Wardy called Dino? It's been a couple of tough draws and good games though. If anyone was there today, I'd appreciate some match reports.
