It seems the decision to split with Peers was at least in part down to a feeling that he was the weak link and it was his nerves that ultimately meant defeat in the two major finals he played with Jamie. Bruno and Jamie so far seem to have succeeded and failed very much as a duo and I have not seen any clear indication that either feels the other is to blame for them not managing to repeat the success of 2016. If they believe it is simply a combination of form and luck that has not gone their way lately they may well endure for some time to come but if either of them feels the blame lies squarely on the others shoulders then a separation is likely and probably necessary.

 the other thing is that I believe Jamie and Bruno are actually good friends of long standing and that will probably make them more patient when things aren't going their way. You tend tk endure if you like the other guy.
