Oh dear, a very disappointing week for Emily altogether. I'd hoped at least she would win her first round doubles - despite her partner's lower ranking they were still ranked ahead of their opponents and did win the first set. Today was a little more predictable against an obviously promising junior, but still a pity to see an empty handed week. Time to return to the UK.

Early exit means she will be home in time to sign in for Surbiton qualies. Was surprised to see her play the week leading into the grass, but I guess with making a main draw it was worth a punt.
Suspect Yuan will be worth keeping half an eye on.
