So, looks like we end up with 7 men in Nottingham Challenger, 5 ladies in Nottingham WTA, and 7 ladies plus any qualifiers in Manchester ITF - 17 plus players.
It made me wonder what the record might be for GB players playing in the main draw at this level or above in any given week? Ie Challenger or Challenger equivalent and above? 17 plus must be up there with other weeks. The Surbiton weeks generally wont have 17 I don't think in the main draw; the Queens/Birmingham/Ilkley week might get close as there are 4 main draws but I doubt it, Eastbourne/Southsea probably wont do it and WImbledon certainly won't...any ideas welcomed.

Lissie is in third round qualifying, so not qualified yet, and her surname is BArnett.
Apologies I misread it (never heard of her before if I am honest, so it was an honest mistake!). But I hope she does well - I am slightly amazed they are playing FQR on the Tuesday, what is bizarre schedule they seem to have at Madchester (sic)!
Edit - apologies if that comes across wrongly, I genuinely dont really follow the womens ITF events so many of the names are new to me - refreshingly so. It is part of why I love the grass season, it helps bring new names to the fore as I dont tend to dig into the ITF events lower regions the rest of the year.

No worries, I realise my post could be misinterpreted to be harsher than it was meant to be - which was just to state the correct facts. I also like hearing these new names, in my case it is more in the men's game.
