Re the number of withdrawals, is this anything at all to do with the proposed (actual?) changes re first round retirements and that players now get half their prize money for R1 even if they can't play? (I'm pretty hazy on the rule change - as you can see ! - but I remember something like that about it and just wondered if that's why there are so many this time - in which case, more players should have realised it was likely that there would be a lot more withdrawals and signed in !).

Never nice to see an opponent retire but Ill take that! Cam really is having a great time on the dirt and is giving himself a tremendous platform for the rest of the year
