Week 21 - French Open Qualifying (Clay)

Jay's draw is...interesting.

Jay Clarke vs Ramkumar Ramanthan IND (Q12)

Winners faces either Bernard Tomic(!) or Darian King

Liam Broady vs Zdenek Kolar (CZE)

Winner faces Marcel Granollers or Stefano Napolitano.

If I'm reading these right, anyway!

There is a pdf file of the draw on the RG site which you can link to from www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/article/robredo-gulbis-kokkiniakis-feature-in-roland-garros-mens-qualifying-draw

Liam edged through against Kolar in Italy recently (the Czech player served for the match)

Jay has played Ramanathan before, in November 17 in Bangalore, winning in 3 sets.

Different surface but was in Ramanathan backyard and ranking difference was 140 places in Ramanathan favour.

Well done to the wildcard Alex Muller, ranked about 380, who just beat Donald Young in two.

And the young Aussie, Santillan, who just put out Soeda, also in two sets. (He's the guy Bambo won a dubs title with a couple of weeks ago)

Can someone link me to an order of play, because for the life of me I can't find one.

www.rolandgarros.com/en-us/matches

it's not very concise as it has scores as well, but it's better than nothing!

I think I would agree with some of the comments I have already read that the RG website is the worst GS website I have EVER come across. Hope something is sorted before the main draw starts - if not sooner.

Well what information that is on the site wasn't there until sometime after the matches have started.
And I had to refresh the page a few times to update the scores - was beginning to wonder if play had been suspended !

Yes. David Guez sent a funny tweet this morning to Roland Garros asking them if they, just perhaps, could provide a link to another site so he could watch the livescores of his mates as the one so kindly offered by them was royally up the spout.
