Anna and Xenia were 40-0 up when the score was *5-6, so had 4 GPs to take the first set into a TB, and they lost all 4 pts to lose the set 5-7... and from there the match seems to have gone into more of a tail spin. So the loss of those 4 pts seems to have been pretty terminal.

So far Anna and Xenia have had a promising start in their partnership, reaching two Fs and a SF, but have yet to cross that final hurdle and their losses have not been against players significantly higher in the rankings - in fact in at least one of those tournaments they've been the top seed. So still question marks I think, but we'll see now how they do at RG, and then whether they transition to the grass together following that.
