Our GB ranked 6, 7 and 8 are very close in the live 11/08 rankings. I can agree the current openerarankings figures :
Katy D 247 points Katie S 247 Harriet 234
Katie S of course plays Harriet in R2 here, with a win for Harriet taking her to 246, even tighter. Or of course a win for Katie S taking her to 259. And maybe still more for the winner of that encounter.
Katy D is the only one of the 3 with points due off next week for the 18/06 rankings, with 13 ( net 8 ) to come off.
Well done to Harriet. Updated live points ...

Which ''live rankings''list is the official live rankings? They seem to say different things when I look.

I don't think there is such a think as official live rankings, just different sites that take it upon themselves to produce live / projected figures. I believe the ATP and WTA just officially update their rankings weekly but don't project in advance.
As in discussions above, the http://openerarankings.com/WTAHome figures are normally good and they now agree the above points ( which I'd calculated manually for my sins ) after a hiccup earlier in the day. They have the girls as currently live ranked 214/215/216.

Harriet Dart and Katie Boulter joined Gabriella Taylor and ensured three British women will feature in the quarterfinals at the Fuzion 100 Surbiton Trophy after they defeated wild card Katie Swan (GBR) 62 64 and No. 5 seed Jana Fett (CRO) 75 64 respectively to reach the last eight.
Match by match Im just trying to feel the court, Centre Court is a bit different to the other court so Im really pleased with the performance and glad to get through, said Dart. I served really well and the key was to keep on top. The last game was a little bit rocky but I managed to get over the line so Im happy with it.
Dart will now face No. 4 seed Yanina Wickmayer, a former world No. 12 and five-time WTA singles title winner, in the last eight on Friday. The Belgian, who defeated qualifier Victoria Duval (USA) 64 36 61 in her third round singles match, is enjoying a successful week having also reached the doubles final with partner Arina Rodionova (AUS).
Boulter, from Leicestershire, scored an impressive straight-sets win over overcame Croatian Fett, ranked over 50 places ahead of her in the rankings.
Any win on the grass right now for me is a big win, said Boulter. Im working really hard and hoping for the best season that I can and I know shes a really good player, so I knew I was going to have to get my best game out and I did.
Next up for Boulter will be Australias Pricsilla Hon who advanced to the quarterfinals after her opponent, No. 3 seed Madison Brengle (USA), gave a walkover due to an ankle injury.
The womens doubles final will see Wickmayer and Rodionova, who narrowly defeated No. 2 seeds Priscilla Hon (AUS) and Fanny Stollar (HUN) in their semi-final 64 67(2) 10-7 face Australian No. 3 seeds Jessica Moore and Ellen Perez. The Australian pairing knocked out top seeds Monique Adamczak (AUS) and Laura Robson (GBR) 64 64 in their semi-final match.

Yes. The live-tennis.eu/en/official-wta-ranking has the ''live rankings'' as follows:-
Seems a strange Order of play today, 3 Brits girls are all on first up at same or similar times (two start at 11, one at 12) before the mens takes over. Youd think they would try and separate them a little more or perhaps have put two of them on centre? I know Dan is also on centre and Ebden v Stakhovsky, and mens all Brit Doubles final (why is that on a Friday?? as well as Ladies on a friday??) - seems strange scheduling all around I think...
As Rodionova and Perez are qualifying in Nottingham and 's-Hertogenbosch respectively tomorrow, they won't be complaining about the doubles final being on a Friday.

oh, ok - hadnt appreciated that. But would they have scheduled it like that to suit those guys in advance (or in case anyone got in that position?) - I always thought the schedule (as people are paying) would be well sorted in advance so you know broadly what you will get on a given day? So presumably it was always planned (weather allowing) to play the doubles finals today?

... and Court 1 not used at all: I wonder if it was already booked for the club mix-in or something?
It would have always being planned to play the doubles final today. I think ITF doubles finals should always be on a Friday as still competing in doubles at the qualifying sign-in deadline for next week doesn't qualify you for a SE. It's fairer if it is completed before then.
It should also be noted Gabi and Katie's opponents are also due in Nottingham qualifying tomorrow.

How does it work on the ITF side - if those two opponents won, would they get an SE into Manchester say instead? Or does the WTA allow players to try and play in both if relatively nearby (as in a few hours max by motorway??!). I know the ATP used to (there was a famous instance when Matt Davis the American played Bristol main draw and Wimlbedon qualies at the same time and hiked back and forth down the M4 - but that rule may have changed)
