Geez, how many more physio treatments is this guy going to get ? I bet Kyle could use a bit of loosening up 'hands on' at this juncture also !!

A bit flat, too many errors, not enough first serves.

For the record:

QF:  Mikhail Kukushkin (KAZ) WR 90 defeated (2) Kyle Edmund WR 18 by 5-7 6-3 6-1  cry

I always thought Kuku was going to be a tough nut to crack.  Wouldn't surprise me if he went on to win the damn' thing now.

Stating the obvious, but a poor loss given this tournament always likely to be where Kyle accumulates the majority of his grass season points.

According to a report by Rick Broadbent in today's Times, there was a disputed line call at *0-2 to Kuku & 30-30 in the decider.  Kyle want the point replayed, the ATP supervisor, Tom Barnes, said he couldn't give a judgement & Kyle blew a gasket!

He was extremely stroppy - and it definitely didn't work for him . Knew he had no chance after that.

Pity. Love that Kyle has shown more presence and emotion this year. But that sort of reaction won't work unless he can truly compartmentalise it. Certainly didn't turn this one around anyway.

Well Kuku probably knows he won't go that deep next week - but I've been proved wrong - so he can concentrate all his efforts on winning this damn thing and the damn decent prize money that goes with it (in relative terms). Made me chuckle a bit when you said 'damn thing'.
