 Very true, Indi. Seems to have been playing better recently, then loses  a few matches she should win. Big wins in Miami and Fed Cup, thrashed by Coco in Stuttgart, average at Rome and Madrid - below par in Nuremburg. Wouldn't put money on her.

It will be good to see how Sam is. I still haven't heard why she has been out the whole year so far - whether it has been through injury, or just a conscious decision not to play.

Well she's still on the list, but it wouldn't be the first time this year she has withdrawn late. I guess we'll have to wait until the main draw comes out, probably Monday night. I can't get into the usual pages right now, as the calendar seems to be offline, so can't check if the names I quoted earlier in the week are still entered.

Sam has played a couple of team tennis matches over the last month, winning them both comfortably.
