I put this in the current tournament Anna is playing in but is more relevant to this thread.

According to this tweet Anna and Xenia are playing RG together.

Heather is with Tatjana Maria - think she won a title with her recently - somewhere with big hats, Mexico?
Naomi is also in the draw with Magda Linette

The British Tour Premier event at North Oxford this week (with a WC into the Wimbledon WC playoff's) has a number of ranked players worth noting.

Amongst the men, Jonathan Gray, Neil Pauffley and Dan Evans
Amongst the women, Sam Murray, Jodie Burrage, Freya Christie and Alicia Barnett

Plus a number of names featuring regularly on the British Tour

That is interesting, a number of us discussed Dan playing Oxford on a thread a month or two back, good move.

Not knowing if there are any potential for any WCs for Wimbledon at all. If Dan has to go the full hog through this and then the WC playoff and then the Qualies. He could play 11 games to just Qualify for round 1!

Hi The Addict - I have been searching all over for more detail on this, is there a website? The LTA British Tour site is woeful to be honest, in terms of detail, and there doesnt appear to be one for North Oxford or an independent Tour site...any links welcomed!

The site is truly woeful, I agree, JonH

Every couple of weeks a 'survey' thing pops up on the screen and I complete it - telling them their site is woeful!!!

Never seems to change.

However, this might help:

www3.lta.org.uk/Competitions/Competition/

That's the one, CD wink

To find out more about the British Tour go to
https://www.lta.org.uk/competitions/adult-competitions/british-tour

There is a link to the calendar, which in turn links to the individual tournaments.
And there is info about the Playoff WC within the info on the left.

thanks both - got it now - didnt realise the pdf had links within it!

Good entry for North Oxford as you say - Alexis Canter also playing, btw why is he only rated 2.1 v 1.1 for the rest, he is the 4th highest ranked player entered!?

Probably hasn't done enough at LTA level to boost him to 1.1
I haven't really looked into how the ratings are calculated.

And you usually get a decent entry to the equivalent premier event, as the money is reasonable, and there is that WC on offer.
It was held at Felixstowe in 2016, and the entries included Dan Smethurst, Neil Pauffley and Joe Salisbury.
