Alice did have a good chance to gain another point here, but after coming back well in the second set, fell away again in the decider.

R1: GILLAN, Alice (GBR) 1092 lost to VEHVILAINEN, Lisa (FIN) Q UNR 17yo JCH=466 4-6 6-1 2-6

Just looking at Alice's momentum graph, and I see there was a really pivotal game 6th game first set on Alice's serve. It was 24 pts long, and she had at least 3 GPs to make it 3-3, but she eventually lost on the 6th BP against her... The rest of the set was close too. Swing that game, and the set (and match) result could have been very different...
