A good day for Tara as she and Amra Sadikovic (SUI) win their R16 doubles over a Japanese WC pair 6-3 6-0.

Updated, and to note that the UNR teenager Katie B squeaked by does have a current JCH of 13. Just to note that Tara's ranking has fallen 43 places this week, but so far her net 4 pts will take her back up to 468. A first round win and she would finally start to close back on the GB #10 position. Maia would need to reach the QF in South Korea this week to get there.

R32: Katie BOULTER (GBR) [5] 176 beat Yuki NAITO (JPN) UNR (CH:813 Jan 17) 17yrs (JCH:13 March 18) 4-6 6-4 6-4

R32: Naomi BROADY (GBR) [1] 127 vs Ayano SHIMIZU (JPN) 238 (CH:229)
R32: Laura ROBSON (GBR) [8] 236 vs Katy DUNNE (GBR) 225
R32: Gabriella TAYLOR (GBR) [4] 173 vs Ksenia LYKINA (RUS) 304 (CH:171 April 10)
R32: Tara MOORE (GBR) 487 vs Asia MUHAMMAD (USA) 256 (CH:124 April 17)
