George beat Ornago in three sets in the quarters last week.

George converts his first match point (wasn't broken during the match) to win 6-2 7-5 and face a semi against the second seed, who he beat last week

For some reason Georges match started some time after the other three. His opponent has had about an hours more rest before they meet I think?

The final set of Geoerge's SF has been held over until Sunday at 9 am local, 7 am GMT, OK err BST.

These 16 points garnered these last two weeks in themselves have him into the 800s in the rankings on Monday week and GB #24.

It goes without saying that finding your level at 17 in senior Tennis is about top 500 should be considered a very positive thing!

 George is my fave but even so I'm not sure he wants to be too highly ranked based on some weak tournaments.
