Good win from Kyle, never easy to beat somebody like Djokovic. Worth noting though that Novak is currently sitting in the low 70s in the race rankings, so whilst a good win, it maybe doesnt translate to as great a win as it might seem/feel. Hopefully Kyle can push on and continue.
Looking at the draw, this could be agreat chance for Kyle to accumulate some big points. Tough ask with some quality players, but if he is on form then he could do deep

Yes thats my thinking as well. Novak has deeper problems I think, so probably best not to get carried away. Novak at the moment could lose to any top 100 player. Cam would have probably beaten him today.
Yes, not a current top 10 ranked scalp and Novak continues to look genuinely not a top 10 player even on general current form and at times way off. But at other times still not far off at least that level and it is Novak. So very well done and another good 3 set win ( having mentioned once or twice that 3 set record against top 40 players last year ).
As said takes him into the top 20 on live rankings. And passing Chung he goes 2nd ( to Zverev ) in the top ranked under 24s and 4th ( add in Thiem and Pouille ) under 25.
Also while he has of course a Slam SF plus another Slam L16 it is Kyle's first Masters L16 and first time to have 2 MD wins in a Masters. Good, if about time on that one.
