Bloody marvellous. Might as well win the whole thing now........

I actually fell asleep on my elbows in front of my computer for the last couple of games and woke myself  up as  arms gave way hitting the desk, just at match point !!!!

Up to live ranked 19 with only Raonic having a serious chance of overtaking him.

Cracking result

Good man, Kyle. Great result even if Novak isnt what he was - he was there for the taking and he was taken.

Well done Kyle (I will take back my non clutch comment elsewhere!)

Great set from Kyle! A deserved win and Novak not playing badly giving Kyle plenty of backhand practice. The fearhand was majestic but some heavy serving and Kyles ability to be able to go head to head with Novak on the backhand the real difference for me in Kyles game today.

Wow that was unexpected well done. Goffin next might actually be a tougher challenge.

Sad to see Novak as poor, I still dont think hes fit. I also think Andy will as rumoured not rush back having watched Novak. A fully fit Novak would not have lost that match. Well done Kyle taking advantage of circumstances shades of fortune that way as per Aus Open Semi Run.

Wont be surprised to see Novak withdraw from French Open now.

I am still not sure Novak's head is right. Seems his issues are physical and mental. I think his game was so much based on mental strength when he was dominating a couple of years back that when it went, it literally collapsed. Question will be what level can he get  back to - I dont see #1 ever really, can he make top 10 again? Game moves on and when you arent on top of your game in all aspects it is easy to fall away and not compete.

For players like Kyle, winning against someone like Novak who isnt on top form is all about  killer instinct and playing the ball and not the star name - he seemed to do that well.

Daily mail already reporting it and calling Kyle as top 20.

he isn't going to get fit if he isn't playing

Bit worried about Kyles nose, he really needs to slap the factor 50 on it.

Realistically Kyle wont be benchmarking himself against the old Novak that era, we may see the odd flicker over the next couple of years but for the most part its done and Kyle looking to become part of a much flatter and arguably more interesting heirarchy at the tenniss top table. As always he spoke a lot of sense in the post match interview.

That rather depends on what the problem is.
