Well at least Saint-Gaudens is in southern France, and Monzon is northern Spain - about 100km as the crow flies across the Pyrenees. Sign-in is today, so a telephone call !
And yes, I'd be very surprised if they don't play the doubles - it's time to have a shot at the next level.
I was getting nervous for a while - I saw Katie served for it, and then was broken. Shouldn't have worried ! 30 points in the bag to replace a low-counter
In the final Katie will meet Aliona BZ, who Beth lost to in the first round singles, but beat in the first round doubles, with Olivia. Good luck to Katie for tomorrow...

And yes a significant CH beckons for Katie once these points go on. With the 30 pts she will reach the 250s in 10 days time, were she to win the title, she will reach as high as the 230s. One thing Katie will do for sure is pass Laura as the GB #8.
Two former top juniors in the final: Katie JCH 2, AZB JCH 4
They met as Juniors, too:
2014 - Canadian Junior Championship - Grade 1 - Hard - SF - Swan by 6-3 6-7(6) 6-2
*3 of the 4 in the SF at that event were GB players Freya lost to Gabi in the other SF, and Katie won the final

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
Beth and Olivia have indeed won several clutch double deuce serve pts this set to keep the score at 1 break apiece second set, having lost the first comfortably. They also missed 2 BPs in one game mid set... and then saved BPs each of their following two service games, either of which if taken would have allowed their opponents to serve for the match. Now their opponents save 1 SP, but not the second; Beth and Olivia break and its a MTB
2-6 7-5
