Katie's sixth career pro title - all in singles. As her second $25K title, this equals her biggest title to date - perhaps this one isi arguably bigger, as Katue won her other $25Kwhen the opponent (Ms. Boulter) retired in the first set.
She has 2 x $25K, 4 x $10K/$15K.
This is the fifth of the six titles to come on Hard courts, and the third in Iberia (second in Spain) - all Katies titles have come in either Iberia, or Egypt.

Katie should certainly be into the top 250 on Monday week. Probably not far off WR 240. Smashes her current WR/CH 288.

And if you take off the points due to come off in the next month or so from Harriet and Katy D against very few from Katie S it puts her potentially right in the mix with them re GB #s 6,7 & 8. Hopefully they will all be adding points, Katy D next week and all in the grass season.
