I believe there is a Universities Olympics this weekend in Paris. Does any one have details please?

If you're refering to MasterU BNP Paribas its next weekend. I've been looking for the GB team for the last week but haven't seen anything yet. The US team was announced earlier this week and is very strong.

Many thanks Lambda. Despite me getting the event, the dates and the venue wrong that is the event which I meant! British women's team includes Esther Adeshina, Eliz Maloney and Amelia Rajecki.

James Story, Finn Bass and JoMo complete the line-up

Feels like a strong British team - are the team current students or is it for those who have also recently left? Many of ours seem to be out of college now - if that is correct?

Liam Hignett is now named in the GB team instead of JoMo.

No clue. As you say the website is poor.

All I've been able to gather so far is that we are playing Belgium today and Eliz won 1 & 0 against Amelia Waligora (WTA971)

For anyone interested today's matches with streams for what's left of them

USA v Germany - NCAA Champion Michael Zheng lost - stream
Australia v Switzerland - Maya Joint won (unsurprisingly) - stream
France v Ireland - stream
GB v Belgium - Eliz, James and Millie have won, no idea about the other men's singles. Finn and James won men's doubles - stream (keeps cutting out)
Millie and Esther about to start women's doubles

Still not found any live scores, results or draw.

We won all 4 singles, so all our doubles are dead rubbers.

Millie says the courts are really fast.

GB defeated Belgium 4-0
Finn Bass d. Jules Garot 6-4 6-3
Eliz Maloney d. Amelia Waligora 6-1 6-0
James Storey d. louis van herck 6-3 7-6(2)
Amelia Rajecki d. Jana Otzipka 7-6 6-4
Bass/Storey d. Garot/Vanhaume 6-3 6-0
Rajecki/Adeshina d. Vanhoutte/Waligora 8-2
Hignett/Adeshina d. VanHoutte/Vanhaume 8-6

France defeated Ireland 4-1
USA defeated Germany 4-1
Australia defeated Switzerland 4-2

I believe the Semi-Finals line up as
GB v Australia
USA v France

I think I'd rather have played France. Don't fancy our chances against Australia.

Thanks Lambda - is the USA team stuffed full of names from the NCAA last weekend?
