The MD has been done, but the 4 Qs will get placed not long after the final qualifier has finished. It's just gone into a deciding set.

The MD is done.  Just the 4 qualifiers to be placed, so we see who Evo plays and which qualifier Jonny gets.

I imagine that that will be done fairly soon after the final qualifying match is completed and it's at 5-3* in the final set.

Main draw out:

L32:  (WC) Lloyd Glasspool WR 476 (CH = 282 in July 2016) vs (7) Marek Jaloviec (CZE) WR 299 (CH = 244 last November)

The Czech was born in Ostrava, but clearly didn't fancy the tournament in his birthplace on clay.

L32:  (3) David Guez (FRA) WR 266 (CH = 116 in July 2010 - he's now 35) vs (WC) Aidan McHugh WR 1245 (CH = 1244 last week)

L32:  (6) Kaichi Uchida (JPN) WR 292 (= CH) vs (WC) James Ward WR 772 (CH = 89 in July 2015)
L32:  Qualifier vs (WC) Jonny Gray WR 597 (CH = 538 at the start of this month)

The other players Dan could face, should he qualify, are Alessandro Bega (WR 350), Jared Hiltzik (WR 411) & Lucas Miedler (8/WR 302).

Qualifiers placed:

L32:  (Q) Dan Evans UNR vs (8) Lucas Miedler (AUT) WR 302 (CH = 300 last October)

Not a bad draw. Would probably have preferred him against the American and then would have had a potential match with Miedler in the 2nd round. Not sure who Gray has ended up with, but probably an 'easier' draw for him now than a potential Evans match.

It is however the highest ranked person he could have faced.

Whoops!    Forgot Jonny's opponent:

L32:  (Q) Harri Heliövaara (FIN) WR 455 vs (WC) Jonny Gray WR 597

Is that James Trotman sitting with Leon @ 2.45 ?

Enjoyed the interview, especially when  he said winning that match felt like he'd won the tournament.

Dan and Lloyd are in fact both on centre court tomorrow. I have to say as the BBC live coverage starts Tuesday, I assumed that dan would be "saved" til then to ensure he didnt get knocked out....

Not exactly much luck in the draw with 4 of the 5 Brits drawing seeds in R1.

Dan is 2nd match after 16.30, the previous match being a dubs.  I'm hoping it'll be streamed, it should be.

So nice to see Dans name on a scoreboard again

Seconded. Ive really missed having Dan to follow. Perhaps its the bad boy in me but I never get as excited following any of our other players (even Andy!) as I do with Evo. Welcome back Dan. Allez!!!

This is pretty much me too.

I want all our guys to win, particularly Liam Broady and Jay but no-one takes you on the emotional roller coaster that Dan does.

Lloyd was broken in the opening game and is struggling for consistency on the forehand side, but has just broken back for *2-2
