Full list of players accepted into the main draw from the LTA site.
As has been reported elsewhere, main draw wild cards have been awarded to Aidan McHugh, Lloyd Glasspool, Jonny Gray & James Ward, while Dan Evans & the local junior (16 years old), Jacob Fearnley, receive qWCs.
The draw is apparently 9.30 pm tonight according to the twitter link on the Dan Evans thread. Seems late. Would that be linked to waiting the SE situation to finalise at Challenger level?
Thats standard timing as far as Im aware for Challengers . Qualifying sign in is always between 1800 & 2100 local time. Then the draw is normally out within the next hour.
Be interesting to see the strength or possibly more otherwise of the qualifying draw and thus what opportunities there are for British entries and who takes them up.
I would have thought the likes of Neil Pauffley would have been here but sadly or maybe not hes still playing in Tunisia. And Marcus as well has played the Glasgow ITF at Scotstoun the last two years. Think Ed Corrie is there along with Dan and a couple of juniors but it would be good if there were another half a dozen or so turning up especially given how weak the field is in general.
QR1: (q1) Daniel Brands (GER) WR 386 (CH = 51 in August 2013) vs (qWC) Jacob Fearnley UNR
How unfair is that? Talk about lambs to the slaughter!

Isaac Stoute, Sean Hodkin and Scott Duncan plus a pile of unknowns, disappointing uptake really. The only two players likely to do anything meeting each other.
