I think thst it has at times proved difficult for her to get into even qualifying with no national ranking. I haven't a clue what's involved in getting a national ranking or moving up that ranking?
And even if and when she gets to two counters she will still on entry lists be behind all these with national rankings.

National rankings for British players are based on their ratings. Emilie has a LTA rating of 10.2 and so has presumably played no events in the UK. She could request the LTA to give her a rating more representative of her international results.
Great to see Emilie qualify handsomely, and as good as opportunities for picking up points as all three of them could have wished for... Let's hope for at least two of them to do so, Nell and Emilie I am going to go for, though Amelia has perhaps the best match up.
Nell is 18 now (25 Feb 2000), although the JCH was set when she was 16. Whereas Taysia is 17, but her JCH was set when she was still 16.
(Just for consistency)
Congrats to Nell for her first MD win, and her second points counter, having qualified for the MD in the Loughborough 25k earlier this year. She came through an 18 pt service game in the second set, including 4 DFs, to go 4-2 ahead, and after missing 3 MPs in her next service game that set her up for her eventual win, albeit on her 7th MP.
With Amelia losing, it's now over to Emilie LG to earn a 2nd GB win tomorrow.
All 3 are in doubles matches later today, Nell and Amelia together, Emilie with a young 16yr old Russian.
