Great if Andy is ready for Glasgow but clearly uncertain and I do hope he doesn't push too much to play just because it's in Glasgow. Stick to his script of playing again when he is really ready and not before.
The field in Israel is now so weak that Alicia is no 3 on the main draw list. Shame some of the others didn't plump to play there - Freya could have been top seed but seems to have withdrawn from all lists.
Wow. Nell Miller is 5th alt for the MD, having come out top of the unranked players. And that's with only 16 players showing on the MD list.
Nell is now in the MD. Amelia Stuart is 3 places away from being in the MD.
At this rate of attrition there soon won't be many left for qualifying in Israel. Now just 17/32 listed for the MD and 32/48 for qualifying, and no alts.

Disappointing Andy won't be there =it is too early for him but Dan looking forward to seeing him play at weekend.
Great experience for Aidan McHugh to get WC at this level == at one time it might have been Jonny O'Mara but he has had a fall out with Tennis Scotland not enough backing
Anyway Jonny hasn't played a pro circuit singles match in more than 8 months and is currently partnering Luke in a series of doubles challengers in the Americas.
Whatever the past with Tennis Scotland or thoughts on singles vs doubles decisions there is no singles commitment there to warrant any WC.

All the best to Aidan and the others.
Jonny and Luke two of the best young singles players we have in their age group. Wasting their talents playing doubles, crying shame. LTA and Tennis Scotland hang your heads in shame.

You're not a fan of doubles. But I don't understand this comment because surely Luke, Jonny and whoever else must want to play doubles?? You can't force someone to play singles.
