Dom & Marcus have just had at least 3 SPs on return but their QF first set has gone to a TB.

For whatever reasons seems it went a bit pear-shaped in the second set and they missed out in the MTB.

QF:  (3) Marcus Daniell (NZL) & Dominic Inglot CR 87 (35+52) lost to Divij Sharan & Jan-Lennard Struff (IND/GER) CR 92 (42+50) by  6-7(5) 6-0 [11-9]

Nice solid win from Kyle 6-2, 6-4. I thought he was playing and moving quite well and hopefully setting himself up for going even deeper this week.

Didn't see any of it but seems like a really solid performance from the scoreline. Next up, Malek Jaziri or Mischa Zverev who are on court right now.

The top half of the draw here is wide open. One of Vatutin, Andujar, Basilashvili or Sousa will be in the final.

The stand out QF in the bottom half will be the all French match up between Gilles Simon and Richard Gasquet.

As for the battle to be Kyle's QF opponent, unsurprisingly in my opinion, WC Malek Jaziri is a set up on 8th seed Mischa Zverev.

L16:  (2) Kyle Edmund WR 26 defeated Radu Albot (ROU) WR 93 by 2 & 4

*****

QF:  (WC) Malek Jaziri (TUN) WR 91 (CH = 47 in February last year) vs (2) Kyle Edmund WR 26

Jaziri has just despatched Mischa Zverev, the eighth seed, by 2 & 4.   He's now 34, but clearly enjoying a new lease of life!
