Elise was the player (got to about WTA 130) who was knocked out by Mihai Barbat, the father of Karen Barbat, after being racially abused, suffered from concussion, never played again and still suffers slight memory problems.

Brilliant result, Elise ! (and Kiki too).

The trouble is that Kiki's ranking has risen because she has just won Charleston whereas Jo's ranking is based on her grass court exploits of last summer.
