To be fair, Alex never seems to stay fit long enough for us to really see where he might get to.

True re this year but I do tend to think that he could really advance if only ...

But yes disappointing that we have so few even generally challenger competitive players compared to how it was looking a year or two back.

As I showed in a table elsewhere out 5th top points gatherer this year so far is Neil Pauffley with 14.

So it would be great to see newer players continue to progress plus maybe one or two at least of the above to find some better form again.

Looking at the ITF momentum graph, Ryan saved a couple of MPs when 3-5* down too so 3 saved in all.

Now 1-6 7-5 *1-2 after he broke at the start of set 3 but was broken back.

An extended bad run of 10 points lost in a row 'helps' take it to 3-5*

He did actually lose 16 points in a row at the end of set 1.
