Good that Gabi saw the match through, though it was closer than it probably should have been. It's still not clear who had the double MTO right at the beginning of her match. Mcphee then went onto play a long doubles match, so she seems fine... Also hope that Katy is ok. Both she and Kimberly Birrell are due to play singles tomorrow, so guess we will find out for all concerned.
Re Gabi, she has a Mornington QF points coming off when these points are added week after next, so she needs one more win this week to ensure she does not lose points, and to reach the SF to gain any points. Tonight she is scheduled on the main court first up (ie midnight UK time), and so should be on livestreams tonight. Katy is not on a main court.
She's 3-0 up (1 break) by the way. Konig gone from about 7/2 to 12/1. Gabi now 1/50, so I'd imagine those 3 games would have been reasonably comfortable. A win here would be enough to cancel out those points she is defending.
I've given up on that ITF stream, they are very unreliable, watching on my phone via SkyBet.
Gabi broke again to make it 4-0, but was then broken back immediately, but not has 0-30 (or 15-30 as I type), so a chance to restore the 'insurance break'
