Bother. I haven't followed Tara for some time now, so can someone enlighten me as to why she's so far down the rankings. I was following her at the sort of time she was playing Shrewsbury with Jo, so quite a few years ago.

I wish I knew

Katie Boulter has not appeared in the Main Draw

Doubles:
Tara's found herself magnetuically attracted to yet another pretty stinking draw, in the form of a pairing comprised of two former singles and doubles top 50 players (top ten in both in Vera's case)
R16: Moore/Scholl (GBR/USA) 486 v. Amanmuradova/Zvonareva (UZB/RUS) 505

Tara had a stinking 2017 hardly winning a match. She has also apparently fallen out of love with the game, and certainly her motivation appears MIA much of the time. She's had some doubles success, mainly with Conny, and that's about it for some time now. I think it's some time since she's had much fun on the tennis court.

Thanks Micheal.

I understand that playing tennis day in and day out can be a chore (like any other job). I just wonder what tennis players do when they can't earn enough money to survive. Most probably only have one skill set.

Live off the wife    Conny at WR 182 is just off her singles CH.

Seriously, pity re Tara's tennis and it would be great if she could somehow find that love of the game again.

Katie B is on the lists for the Japan 25Ks in the next 2 weeks ( 14 & 15 ). The Fed Cup play-off is at the end of Week 16, the team and any backup of course still to be announced but at least Katie would already be in situ.
