Watching the highlights you can see the naivety from Katie at times.

She can hit great shots but then the next point it's not so good. Big learning curve this week.

Think she needs a run of matches like a 25K win or a 60K win just to boost her. Not sure what her plans are for the clay season but I would think going to the far east might be a better option.

Katie is on the entry list for a 60k in France next week, followed by 2 two 25k's in Japan - all hard courts. In the main draws, but outside the seedings at the moment. With the current fields, tournament wins will be hard to get as there are players ranked inside the top 100 - but who knows, she is capable of some good wins.

I see that our good friend Oceane Dodin is 3-2* up in the final set vs Simona Halep. She was *3-1 up.

For whatever reasons that partnership with Renata Voracova has certainly not been working out so far 

Anna's been holding her ranking this year so far because of essentially nothing to defend. But it won't be too long until she starts facing the defence of big points won with Nicole Melichar last year.

Game 5
Jo gets the first break point, but finds the net on her return on the next point.
Gets another BP with a good return - saved
A third - Jo just misses wide with her service return
DF brings up a fourth - saved again
Some good forehands create an opening, but Jo is lobbed
Another deuce - followed by an ace from Flipkens
And another deuce - and Jo gets a fifth break point with a good return
Misses just long whengoing for the kill - deuce
Flipken holds after a game lasting nearly 11 minutes
2-3*
