Emily in play, *2-5
She is yet to win a service game, or, indeed, a point on second serve (0/7)

MTO at *1-4 and must be for Emily, given the stats so far.

Emily still hasn't held serve in 6 attempts, and has just 1 ace and 6 DF's. But she has managed 3 breaks of her own.

Even if there were doubts earlier about her fitness, Emily is still fit enough to play her doubles and with Valeria to triumph comfortably. Into the finals they go... smile

Potential opponents still to play...

Good stuff though pointswise can only rack up another doubles reserve 12 pointer.

I'd think the MTO could well have been for Lemoine anyway, her being quite a good player contributing as much as anything to some of Emily's stats. If it was for Emily clearly nothing too serious.

Opponents now sorted and it is the outside Omani/Filipino pair Emily and Valeria will play in the final. Capadocia has no rank.

Emily & Valeria should know each others games after all their training together, looking for a first title as a pairing, *4-5

I'm afraid I have a soft spot for the unranked Marian Jade. I'm wondering if any Filipino player has ever won a title before.

That would take some searching !!
Marian Jade is the only Filipino player with a ranking point - just the one, from this week !
