QR1: Ed Corrie WR 410 vs Manuel Guinard (FRA) WR 602 (=CH)

The winners of these 2 matches will meet in QR2. There are 3 qualifying rounds.

Good to see Alex back in competition.

Luke & Joe have wended their way back to Europe, but don't have the best of draws:

L16:  Luke Bambridge & Joe Salisbury CR 224 (133+91) vs (WC) Niels Desein & Yannick Mertens (BEL/BEL) CR 978 (410+568)

They'll almost certainly face the top seeds, Jebavy & Sancic, if not, the Ratis, if they get through that one

L16:  Tomasz Bednarek & Stéphane Robert (POL/FRA) CR 525 (148+377) vs Scott Clayton & David Pel (NED) CR 274 (125+149)
L16:  Luca Margaroli & Andreas Mies (SUI/GER) CR 316 (171+145) vs (2) Jonathan Erlich (ISR) & Ken Skupski CR 153 (89+64)

Erlich is now 40!

 I think bednarek and Robert will be tough opponents for Scott and pel . Fancy erlich and Ken to get through first round though, hope I'm wrong but maybe our only winners
