QR2: Emilie LINDH GALLAGHER (GBR) UNR v. Adele Diana BIBA (CMR) UNR (17 yo; JWR 2271 - JCH 2184, Jan. 2018)
The first GB outing against Cameroon since at least the start of 2017. GB, in that period, will soon catch up with EWS, in her career, for total countries played

Just adding there that Patrascu is the 2nd Q seed unfortunately. Hope Emilie can give her a good go though, she seems to be playing well.

Just to note that Jodie really needs some points this week as she has 7 points (net 5) coming off after Miami for reaching the Sharm final this time last year. Tough for Emilie, but she had a really good FQR result today.

Bit of a potential banana skin for Jodie, against a top junior ringer, but she's managing it fine so far, *4-3

Jodie hasn't lost yet this year after winnning the first set (4-0) and she was 34-5 in that respect last year.
This ones going to be a nail biter, but Jodie has just opened up a vital lead in the closing stages, 6-4 4-6 5-3*

Well done, Jodie - that was close - a really good close out at the end.

Jodie sees off the young pretender, 6-4 4-6 6-3
5-0 when winning the first set; incidentally, I now notice that Gabi is 17-0 and Harriet is 15-0; last year, Eden was 24-0!

Well done Jodie

R16: Jodie BURRAGE (GBR) [5] 546 v. Anette MUNOZOVA (SWE) 851 (CH 747, Sep. 2016)
Munozova's R32 win was her first MD win anywhere since November.
We played her 3 times in 2017, all in March: First in Sharm, Suzy lost in 3, then Katie Swan defeated her in straights; at the end of the month in Istanbul, Freya also won in straights.
