Qualifying draw for next week is out now - and Harriet by virtue of reaching the Yokohama SF is not in it and so presumably joins Laura directly in the main draw with an SE... she certainly deserves it. Julia Glushko, who squeaked into the main draw last week, but was then beaten by Laura in the first round, will have to qualify.

Good that Harriet gets into the MD. This isa 64 player qualifying draw too right? So have to win 3 rounds?

Yes that's correct, 3 rounds and no byes for anyone. I suspect that the 2nd Q seed, Hiroko Kuwata, is not so pleased by Harriet's performance, as she was second on the Q list and has failed to get into the main draw... in her own country wink

Laura and Fanni Stollar are back in the doubles as the top seeds this week, after their win together last week.

Tomorrow both Laura's singles and doubles first round matches are up; Harriet will have one more day to recuperate from her long run last week.
