Barbosa is a decent futures player but no more. And regularly making QFs but that's about all, at the moment. George won't be epxected to win but that seems like a decent-ish draw for him is the first main draw that he's qualified for.
George was 5-2* up on the top 600 decent futures player ( as described by CD above ) in the second set.
He had a SP at 5-2* advantage and 2 further SPs at *5-3 40-15, from which point he lost 8 points in a row and 16 of the last 20.
Certainly a real prospect and for now a match to take as an experience and to learn from.
Would be good in time though if some of our good 2001 born contingent could make some mark in futures during this year when still just in their second last year as juniors.
