You only qualify for an SE if you are still competing when the following week's qualifying starts. If qualifying starts Saturday, then an SE is on the cards. Harriet will start the match as underdog though...
She's actually the slight favourite with the bookies (Harriet)
Im rooting for Laura, just because I think her confidence is still a bit more fragile and because Harriet has a bit more time on her side at only 21. But wouldnt be disappointed to see Harriet win either.
This match might actually go a long way in determining the 4th main draw wild card at Wimbledon, assuming Broady, Boulter and Taylor are pretty certain.
Im with Nix on this one. I think Laura just needs it more especially with all the points she has coming off in May. So want her to win but if Harriet comes out on top thas not too bad either.
I'm for Harriet, as I'd like her 11 match winning streak to continue, and I'm all for seeing 8 players at Roland Garros, and she has much more ground to make up. But as long as neither wins by walkover or RET...

I ll agree with this for the same reasons. Both players need the points for various reasons though so for one of them its a great boost regardless of who it is.
Frustrating match for Laura...was 4-1 up in the 1st and barely won another point, and has just lost her break in the 2nd. Great serving stats from Harriet today.
