Vic Allen is a bit of an enigma, talented, but struggling for consistency - a bit like Hannah McColgan.
Both lost today.

It looks like Victoria Allen's result has been reversed - maybe she's not as inconsistent as all that

Revised R2

(3) Joanne Zuger (SUI) d. M J Changwereza 6-1 6-1
(2) Victoria Allen   def.  (Q) Jillian Louise Roa (USA)  6-2 6-3

And Vicki Allen has won her QF too, very easily.

QF: Victoria ALLEN (GBR) [2] def. Maja GLEDIC (RSA) [8] 6-1 6-1

She's also into the doubles SFs.

She plays the lowest seed left in. Despite over half the draw being South African it is an all European affair at the semi-final stage

SF

(5) Fanni Gecsek (HUN) v (2) Victoria Allen

She had a lean spell last year, but picked up points on the main tour previously. Not sure why she hasn't progressed.

Still growing up - not exactly a veteran smile
