Hev finally gets off 13 pro titles, with this her 14th. A (hopefully) lucky 7th WTA level title overall, a record that still looks very safe for some years yet before anyone else catches her up. 6th doubles title, 4th at WTA level. Her 7th WTA title overall.
(Count her Mixed Doubles crown as regular tour? Then add 1 to all relevant categories)
Delighted for Heather (and Tatjana). A happy, smiling Hev is always a joy to behold
Lovely to see Heather get a win again... in some of those pictures on her twitter feed she and Tatjana look like they could be sisters. And the pair they've beaten were of course Anna +s conquerors in the QF..
Hopefully this will give her confidence to improve her tennis which has been poor recently, as well of course as being good fun. Thats the only thing to celebrate here Id say. But then Im biased naturally as you all know when it comes to the Servevolley (A good name for the Sport) I fear we may never see her break the top 40 unless we see a more confident Heather. So heres hoping we see it starting with Indian Wells.

Presuming you meant, '... break the top 40 again...'? Heather's CH is 38, from January 2015, the first rankings after her win in Hobart. She spent 6 weeks inside the top 40.

Great to see Heather take another WTA title. Hopefully, this will give a boost to her singles at just the right time with some big tournaments coming up.

Yes fully aware, Top 32 if it suits pedants such as yourself.
8 hours after posting the original article, BBC finally update their story to acknowledge that Heather does in fact exist and merit a mention for also having won a doubles title in Acapulco yesterday.
NB: Heather won her title before Jamie, and at a far more reasonable time of day for UK journalists.

So generous of the BBC. This is the full extent of the mention
"Fellow Briton Heather Watson also claimed victory in the women's doubles with partner Tatjana Maria of Germany.
The duo beat American's Kaitlyn Christian and Sabrina Santamaria 7-5 2-6 10-2 for their first title together."
