I went to Aberdeen once. It was dark all day and so cold I wore my pyjamas under my suit. Interesting to go to the real North East of Britain mind.
I consider Aberdeen to be the East of Scotland along with Dundee, Glasgow being the West. Edinburgh isnt Scotland for me its basically a town for tourists filled with English and Tories. More culture in a pot of yoghurt as he saying goes.
Edinburgh is a cracking city, I have enjoyed it every time I have visited for work and pleasure.
The density of Torries isnt immediately obvious, I mean its hardly Chiswick or Tunbridge Wells but must be good in terms of the capacity to raise taxes. On a cultural front I wouldnt do Edinburgh down purely on the basis its easier to find a battered Mars bar in Dundee than Leith.
Not to be, from a promising position in the second set, Tara lost the last 3 games of the match in a row. Haas gains her Brit revenge after her loss in the same round to Katie S last week.

To all our Scottish correspondents, especially in the Central Belt, take care tonight and over the next couple days: first three day red Met Office warning I can remember in about a decade.
Best Wishes.
