I thought that Sonay+ will be ranked this week given last week's semi finals result in Roehampton

I think it goes on next week, cya, there's a one-week lag with ITF results

I assume that's a result of the W60 points from Zagreb and W25 points from Portugal counting from different weeks - I'm guessing the line with Zagreb shouldn't be there

Re Harriet's points from Vancouver, they will be correct. Heather & her withdrew from their QF due to Harriet's injury and it is pretty normal practice ( even always? ) for WTA points to be knocked back one round for one of a withdrawing pair, I guess to discourage more dubious withdrawals. In this case Heather kept her 25 QF points but Harriet was knocked back to 1 point.

Amazing - I thought you got points from the last round you won.  confuse

Big congratulations to Millie Bissett (age 16, born 2003) on her WTA doubles ranking.

Always a lovely moment to get on that ladder, whether singles or doubles.

She's only won one doubles match, which seems a bit strange - she got 9 points for that one win at Chiswick 25k, but then picked up a point for a R1 loss at Roehampton, and will presumably get another point for the second R1 loss the week after.

(Which also means you can get ranked for playing and losing three R1 matches? Bizarre.....)

But well done to her.

Yes, it's because its a R16 match not a R32 match. You can no longer get the 1 pt for a first round singles loss at W25 level, but you can still for the doubles.

Yes, I realise. As said, very bizarre. I wonder what the logic is for that.....

As far as I understand it there will be a rankings update today, we just haven't seen it yet. Live tennis shows a women's top 20 ranking today with movements from the Elite Trophy event last week.
