Ah, are the WTA producing backdated rankings post Canada?  I was thinking they probably wouldn't.

Last year the ATP did but the WTA didn't update until the following Monday which this year would be 17/08.

The OER live rankings site has WTA 17/08 live rankings including taking off 18/08 points from last year ( so both Canada and Cinci 2025 ). I did notice that initially this week they had a comment up something along the lines of checking on rankings update dates.

It would be good though if the ATP and WTA would get on the same page as to to how they deal with these 3 weeks.

Last year I remember they released rankings after the Canadian Open final but looking back at the rankings thread they were for the following Monday and then did a further update of the rankings on the Monday. It is normal WTA practice to release rankings midweek after a midweek final. The only official thing I've seen this year is this that the points dropping in the next rankings dont include points from this week last year which implies a ranking update this week.

Good table, most useful.

Fortunately the top two have some non-counters, so the drop isn't quite as bad as it looks (although that's a lot of points for Liv to defend in Asia). As for the others - Harriet and Maddy have a few decent counters, but not much backup.
