I assume that you meant Fran rather than Freya dropping out of the rankings. Fran's one counter of her Melbourne WTA 250 SF last year has dropped.
I see that Anna Smith is still in the GB top 25 having last played in September 2019!

And isnt that where lay folk like me get completely lost. Fran loses points from January 2021, yet Anna Smith has points counting from 2019?! The logic may be there but it escapes me completely !
Ha, actually it's even better / worse. Fran's Melbourne points were from the week February 13th to 19th 2021 so less than a year ago.
The side issue there is that one of the pre Australian Open Melbourne 250s was considered the 2022 successor so points came off when it was played.
The ATP appear to keep strictly to anniversaries of ATP tournaments and Slams ( hence currently counting 2 Aus Opens and 2 ATP Cups ) whereas like here ( and with the Aus Open ) the WTA can remove WTA tournament and Slam points even before the first anniversary. I do so wish the ATP and WTA would be much more consistent rather than invariably going separate routes. Again just adds to confusion.
Anyway that's not the biggie re inconsistency of how far back points remain.. Essentially both the ATP and WTA are removing all old 2021 and before main tour and Slam points the following year, generally on or around their anniversaries.
The big inconsistency is the WTA not fully dealing with ITF tournament points so that Anna still has 50% of some 2019 ITF points. They are now taking off all ITF tournament points on their anniversaries but not ( as yet ) retrospectively to remaining old 2019 and 2020 point.
Dealing or not dealing with ITF tournament points or even indicating their intentions always seems like an afterthought with the WTA so that for many mainly ITF tournament players their points remain a bit of a mess.

Doubles movers is only for players whose points have changed - otherwise youl'd have to do them all. Freya is unmoved at 215 points but as Indi said Fran has dropped out (my omission ). Anna won a 25K some years ago so keeps 50 (halved). It would be very nice to see her back again as she is our best doubles player by several streets.
Abigail Amos gets her third counter at Loughborough in at 1727 Paulina Jurkowska in at 1427 with 10 points, Jessica Matthews in at 1427 with 10 points, Nadia Rawson up 27 to 1340. 1 from Loughborough Danielle Daley up 339 to 1300. 9 from Loughborough Tabitha Holmes in at 1181. 18 from Loughborough Hannah Smith in at 1151. 18 from Loughborough Lauryn John-Baptiste up 262 to 1131. 9 from Loughborough Soumeya Anane up 115 to 941. 9 from Loughborough replace 1 Eliz Maloney up 108 to 892. 9 from Loughborough replace 1 Ali Collins up 42 to 440. 30 from Loughborough replace 4(halved) Jodie Burrage 22 to 411. 18 off from Thailand replaced by 1 Emily Appleton up 22 to 343. 30 from Loughborough replace 10
Despite our sucess in the doubles this week I've been reading some comments on other threads and I think that 3 or 4 15K events would give us a marked improvement in numbers and rankings.
25K is too big an ask for youngsters/hopefulls. Not everybody is a superstar, especially for youngsters - but boom and bust seems the current plan.
Sashi Kempster up 36 to 1592. 1 from Porto Destanee Martins has lot her ranking. 1 off from Monastir Paulina Jurkowska up 30 to 1399. 1 from Birmingham Nadia Rawson up 33 to 1306. 1 from Birmingham Amelia Bisset down 30 to 1269. 1 off from Sharm Sonay Kartal up 267 to 1162 9 from Brum Tabitha Holmes up 24 to 1157. 1 from Birmingham Hannah Smith up 20 to 1132. 1 from Birmingham Lauryn John-Baptiste up 133 to 1000. 9 from Brum Eliz Maloney up 251 to 641. 50 from Birmingham Jodie Burrage up 13 to 395. 18 from Brum replace 9 Freya Christie up 4 to 377. 18 from Brum replace 13 from Spain Naomi Broady down 24 to 324 Samantha Murray Sharan up 8 to 121. 80 from Germany replace 30 from France

Tara takes the top spot. Also 8th time lucky for Sashi Kempster who wins a 25K R16 match in Porto.
Biggest movers in the GB Top25 in February was Eliz up 5 to GB#19. No other player climbed more than 1 place, but amongst those was Tara, up to GB#1. Biggest faller was Anna down 2 to GB#27 (and out of the Top25). Again no other player dropped more than 1 place.
With Tara, Sam, Heather, Alicia, Olivia and Eden are pretty close ranking wise , the doubles battle to be number one is quite interesting- would be good for whoever gets it to be top 100 !

And add in Harriet and Beth who are close behind Olivia. Tara and Sam will have a big points lead over the others though judging by live rankings
