Doubles movers

The GB end of year doubles rankings have none in the top 100 though 7 from 101 to 200. The other 3 of our top 10 have been top 200 in the past. 

Clearly a great deal of variation in the focus different players give to doubles though all our top 10 have more than the 11 counters that are the maximum to count to doubles rankings.

5 of our current top 10 achieved CHs during 2019 including Heather's WR 39 back in February.

Rankings at 30.12.19 :

1. Heather @ 114 ( 15 tournaments, CH 39 in 02/19 )
2. Eden @ 133 ( 20 tournaments, CH 132 in 11/19 )
3. Naomi @ 139 ( 24 tournaments, CH 56 in 05/17 )
4. Emily WS @ 143 ( 33 tournaments, CH 113 in 11/15 )
5. Harriet @ 161 ( 14 tournaments, CH 92 in 04/19 )
6. Beth @ 166 ( 19 tournaments, CH 143 in 10/19 )
7. Naiktha @ 198 ( 21 tournaments, CH 134 in 09/18 )
8. Samantha @ 205 ( 21 tournaments, CH 148 in 10/13 )

Yes, I did see mention of predicting season end doubles rankings. Good luck to anyone giving that a go!

I thought about doing the doubles as well as the singles, but didn't think there would be that much interest.

There's a bit of a gap below the top ten down to Lissey and Emily A at around 350, and then Katie S at 440, so unless there are changes in the players focus, the top ten looks to be reasonably constant. But the order is a toss-up, as you say.

In the table above Heathers points on should be 1 not 60 - as thay gave a walkover in the QF. Arantxa Rus got the 60 so it must have been Heather that called it. Will revise the table after the Aussie open.
