My biggest concern with Liam is that he was in a similar position at the start of 2015 and tried going the ATP qualifying route then too with little success and then seemed to lose confidence and that began the precipitous slide down the rankings that he only managed to reverse late last year. He is 3 years older and hopefully a smarter, more balanced player now so I agree it is worth a shot but I do want him to focus mainly on the challenger tour, try and get a first title there and bring himself to the point where he can mix in ATP events with less risk.

Fear not! Cam is in the MD after all.

Cam Norrie gets a lucky loser spot in Delray Beach, he will play Chung Hyeon not before 17:30 on Monday.

Not sure who withdrew though.

 

Edited: Ah, Nick Kyrgios withdrew which means the draw got shuffled. No Sock v Raonic in R1 anymore either,

 I know a lot of people on various forums have an issue with Nick (basically calling him a d*ck) but perhaps he is you know, actually injured...?
