...which suggests that she has a very competent "Team Eden" around her, helping her to manage her affairs. It's not her first time appearance at WTA qualifying when apparently way below the required ranking.
She was also last-Brit-standing at the 25ks in Loughborough and Shrewsbury and is looking to be holding her own at 25k level, and very strong in 15ks. If she can somehow pick up the extra 50 points or so to start regularly making 25k fields without wildcards, I reckon she'd stick around, and it looks like she may have built herself the infrastructure to flourish at higher levels.
Since her return from injury (knee?) Eden has gone from strength to strength. Used to pick up a few points at the old 10Ks - but is now in the top 500 with some very good wins More power to her elbow. Deserves every opportunity.
Most players in the top 100, both mens and womens, can't boast of a site like that. She is an interesting case, and good for us that she is representing GB.
True. Useful point. Her singles and doubles this week means this is her best earnings week of her career; >10% of previous career earnings ($35,498). Previous best single week was also a winless WC, at Wimbledon qualifying last year, $5,429 This week, $2,108 + $3,839 = $5,947 and hopefully more to come.

A highly commendable display, in vain.
