I'm really pleased for Liam! And $3k in the bag which will cover the week's expenses. Next up is Adrian Menendez-Maceiras, WR 128. AMM is hardly in a rich vein of form, having not beaten a top 200 player since the US Open qualies.

Go Liam!
Great stat.
I was hoping he'd get the win, but agree that its a real shame that they should have to play each other.
It would feel like a real letdown if he doesnt make it, so hope that S Mc's stat is still intact after today.
Given that Liam only entered qualifying as an Alt, doesn't this mean he would be last choice? Or was there a rule change in recent years? Something tells me different categories of tournament have different rules as well.
I followed the first set on live score. Liam got off to a flyer and went 3-0 up. He lost his serve to love, but held a set point on AMM's serve at 5-4, but went on to lose his own serve in the next game and then the set....
