I see Ostapenko lost to Buzarnescu, who is a player I'd never heard of before! What's her background, anyone know her at all? Apologies for my ignorance!
Now, could you please ask a question about when the WTA are going to make their website fit for purpose again, please?
one question I had, not sure if anyone knows, is when will the WTA make their website fit for purpose again? Just asking...
Thanks! Maybe now they'll drop $10K from their ranking points lists and add in $60K, $80K etc and put back historical rankings prior to April 2017 and... [continues for several tens of thousands of words]

Yes will be good to now have it all sorted next week
The match history that gives everyone double points no matter where they progress to is one interesting one. A qualifier who won a Slam would show 4080 points.
Most of all the (should be ) standard ranking points breakdown, singles and doubles, for each player will be good to see.

Some great matches here amongst the big names. Halep, Muguruza, Wozniacki, Kvitova, Kerber, Svitolina all providing excellent contests between each other with regularity this season.
Petra won, again, 13 matches in a row including Fed Cup, and a second title in 2018; Doha added to St. Petersburg. It's great that she continues her Renaissance after her ordeal.
That win means Jo moves an extra spot down to 12th, though her real form is ~30-40th as is her R-t-Singapore ranking. That will also be close to her real ranking after Miami, barring a surge in form.
