...looks like Tara is either the last direct acceptance, or a wildcard. Freya, Eden and Emily App are presumed MDWCs, possibly also Maia. Two of the qualifying sections are all-GB, and we have at least one player in every section.
Tara and Harriet should be in the main draw. Missing from this list and probable MDWC's are Eden Silva, Freya Christie, Emily Appleton and also Kira Reuter. And of course Maia, who might get the fourth WC.
15 players make their 2018 debuts. (Gillan, Grey, Keens, Lawrence Taylor, Loughlan, Nicholls, Paladini Jennings, Peet, Pitak A, Pitak K, Popescu, Scarff, Staff, Taylor E, Tsimbilakis)
First match for 15 months for Ms. Scarff.

Data I post, opinions I offer, 'facts' I assert, are almost certainly all stupidly wrong.
The two all non GB QR1 matches are the top seed's match, bracketed with Eleanor Scarf's match, and the #7 seed's match, bracketed with the Pitak vs Pitak match.
All our ranked players being seeded is a heck of a lot better than Tara being the q15 seed at WR 404 in Glasgow. And we haven't got all our other players thrown in with top 400 ranked players in QR1 ( or vs Tara for Hannah McC ). Though those that did get in at all in Glasgow via qwcs generally acquitted themselves pretty well.
Only the q16 seed from last week ( WR 408 at seedings time ) was ranked lower than the q1 seed this time ( WR 406 ) and clearly only just.
Almost all the results are now in. The seeded players generally came through.
But one outstanding result - MILLER, Nell (GBR) UNR v WACHACZYK, Julia (GER) 2 412 6-4 6-2 And the top Q seed went out as well
Edit - just checked the stats, Nell's previous best win was WR848 in 2015 !!

That's a really fantastic win for Nell! When I first saw the draw, her's seemed the most disappointing to me, as I thought she might have a good chance, but not against the #2 Q seed. And that's a really convincing win too!
Will post the other results now. All in except for one.
