Sort of threw it away. I am not too familiar with these guys from a recognition perspective, but whoever played backhand side was weak. No return to speak of. The opponents played on that and in fact it was his forehand that was weaker than his double backhand. the opposition pretty much served on the centre line towards the end, just played his forehand or body and took the volley to put away. Was that Luke or Bambo? To be honest, I didnt really rate the doubles game of the winners, two singles players it seemed like with little game, disappointing loss based on the scant and probably harsh evidence!
That's a good effort by Molloy. I probably should but don't know him. What's his background?
Someone will probably tell you better but all I know is that Jack was a junior last year, got to be JWR 80, and went off to college in the states (in California, I think) this year.
(His was the one match that I never got to see at Roehampton so have never seen the guy, although I think he's London based)
A student at Reeds School, Surrey on a tennis scholarship before going to California with his fellow pupil Ben Draper
Edit: wrong Draper!
