Luke is a good doubles player. Don't be surprised if he eventually becomes a doubles specialist.

He was clear in his interviews last year that he was pursuing both, with very short-term aims of top 800 for singles and top 500 for doubles. Which doesn't, of course, mean that you're not right and he won't eventually becomes a doubles guy.

And, of course, nearly all the college guys are considerably better at doubles than the average player - due to specific coaching, practice and matchplay. The dubs wins of people like Luke and Jack F-H are not as much of a surprise as their rankings and the betting sites would have one believe.

Sean won't win.
The last 2 weeks have been very disappointing for men's singles.

Whoops!  Forgot about him!     Looks as though Paul's right, though:  Schneider already leads by a set & *3-2.

A shame, but no surprise.  A great effort from Jack and Luke this week though, well played!
